Taxback.com’s Peruvian service is now even better with the addition of a new payment option to make getting tax refunds faster and cheaper.
Thousands of South American students travel to the USA every year for work and many of them are owed a tax refund.
Taxback.com has been preparing tax returns for Peruvians since 2000. Our office in Lima, Peru opened in October 2007 to provide a more localised service to our Peruvian clients. Our services have proven to be very popular with clients in Lima universities and we have held several successful roadshows in Arequipa and Cusco.
US banks typically charge a transfer fee of US$50 for an international payment of US dollars into Peru.
Taxback.com has now set up a Peruvian bank account so our clients can save money on these fees and transfer costs. Our new payment option also means our customers can receive their refunds in their local currency Soles – or in Dollars if they prefer.
Partnership manager Kieran Farrell says the new account further improves the service taxback.com’s Lima office offers our Peruvian clients.
“Last week Sales Manager Fermin Torrejon opened a number of bank accounts in the largest bank in Peru. He was able to do so with the help of the Irish Consulate Mr. Michael Russell and International Business Consultant Mr. Jorge Gallegos Galecio.”
“Thanks to their effort we can now offer our clients a Peruvian local bank transfer option. They can now receive refunds in Soles or in their US Dollar accounts. This new measure will also speed up refunds for our South American clients and lead to a significantly smoother process for all involved.”
“Congratulations to Mr. Torrejon and the rest of the team in our Lima office.”
