This Sunday 8th February, one of the biggest festivals in Australia takes place in the beautiful setting of St. Kilda. The festival has been taking place over the last 30 years and an estimated 300,000 - 400,000 people are expected to flock to the event. All the streets will be closed to traffic which will really add to the festival atmosphere.

More than sixty bands will play over five music stages, street performers will demonstrate their skills in extreme sports and there will be dancers, kids’ entertainers, buskers and many more. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled as you never know what surprise will be around the corner. If it’s not the entertainment you’re there for than you can tempt yourself with a visit to the street market which will feature some of the best food/arts and crafts in Melbourne.

As the sun is coming down, the festival will come to an end but the fun won’t be over as you will see the headline act play on the main stage looking over Port Philip bay against the backdrop of a spectacular sunset.
