Taxback.com supports the Great Irish Bake for Temple Street
We all look forward to the Great Irish Bake for Temple Street every year because it's a glorious excuse for complete and utter gluttony!
There was a great response to the Great Irish Bake for Temple Street in the Dublin office this morning. This is our third year of participating and it’s really touching to see how much effort people go to.
The idea behind the event is a simple one; bring in some baked treats and get people to make a donation to Temple Street in return for sampling them.
There was an array of mouth-watering treats including tiramisu, cookies, chocolate cake and some old-school favourites like a raspberry bakewell and victoria sponge. The surprise hit of the day was a plate of breakfast sandwiches which people tucked into before they hit the sweet stuff.
The Great Irish Bake for Temple Street has been a very popular fundraiser for the hospital since 2009 and has raised a staggering €500,000 to date.
This year’s proceeds are going towards building a new Neurology and Renal Outpatients Unit. If you’d like to make a donation to this very worthy cause, click here.
