Taxback.com makes donation to Jack & Jill

26 July 2012

people

This week, taxback.com made a donation to the Jack & Jill Children’s foundation as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative. The Jack and Jill foundation provides funding to families of children who suffer severe intellectual and physical developmental delay. The donation of €10,720 will pay for over 700 hours of home respite for affected families throughout Ireland.

We’ve been in touch with Jack & Jill throughout the year. Some of our staff members ran the Great Ireland Run in March for the charity and in May, the Kilkenny office had a dress down day also to raise funds.

Founder and CEO of the charity, Jonathan Irwin, came to the Kilkenny office this week to accept the cheque. Speaking at the presentation he said: “Jack & Jill are delighted that taxback.com have so kindly chosen to support us.

Jack & Jill provides home nursing care for severely sick children all over Ireland. Without the generous support of the general public and corporate partners like taxback.com our service, which is a lifeline for our babies and families, would cease to exist. On behalf of our families, we can’t thank you enough for your generosity.”

We are delighted to have been able to make this donation to the Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation. For more information on the charity, click here.
